Sending Love Letters to Your Most Important Digital Asset -- Your Email List

Most business websites make a costly mistake:
they don’t have a welcome email sequence.

After the confirmation email—silence.

No follow-up. No guidance. No relationship.

To a subscriber, that silence feels like neglect.
Like being left in the dark after raising their hand.

It’s rarely intentional.
Most businesses simply don’t realize this one thing:

A welcome sequence isn’t just polite—it drives sales.

Think of it as your first real conversation with a subscriber.
Miss it, and you miss trust, authority, and revenue.

Below is a sample welcome sequence every new subscriber receives.

This one is a 9-email sequence—but the exact number is flexible.
What matters is consistency.

Remind them why they subscribed.
Deliver value.
And yes—sell naturally along the way.

Goals of the sequence:

  • Ensure they receive and consume the eBook

  • Build trust and position authority

  • Make subscribers feel valued, not ignored

  • Lead them into the guitar course offer

That’s how you turn a signup into a relationship—and a relationship into sales.

Hey!👋

Welcome to your guitar journey—you’re officially getting started 🎸

As promised, you can download your free eBook below:

👉 The Beginner Guitar Shortcut Nobody Told You – FREE eBook

I’m really glad you grabbed this.

I created this guide because I’ve seen so many beginners quit guitar too early—not because they lack talent, but because they were taught the hard way first.

Painful finger drills.
Confusing music theory.
Practice routines that feel boring and overwhelming.

Meanwhile, others with less “talent” make faster progress simply because they learned the right shortcuts early on.

That never sat right with me.

I believe anyone can learn guitar—kids, adults, even people who think they’re “too old” or “not musical.”
You just need a simple system that makes sense and fits into real life.

And contrary to what most people believe, you don’t need:

  • Hours of practice every day
  • Fancy guitars or gear
  • Music theory knowledge

Just 30 minutes a day, done the right way.

Inside the eBook, you’ll discover:

  • The #1 mistake beginners make that slows progress
  • What to practice first (and what to skip completely)
  • How to start sounding musical without frustration

🎸 IMAGE IDEA: Guitar beginner — Before (confused) / After (playing confidently)

Teaching guitar the simple way is my passion.
Helping you enjoy music—not stress over it—is the goal.

In my next email, I’ll share 3 beginner guitar tricks that instantly make your playing sound smoother and more confident—without learning new chords.

So make sure you don’t miss it.
Add this email to your address book so it lands safely in your inbox.

Deal? 🙂

Welcome to the guitar life,
Erich

P.S. Keep your guitar nearby today—you’ll want to try one shortcut immediately after reading the eBook

Email 3 - Subject: [Guitar Truth] Why “learning more chords” is killing your progress

Are you afraid to pick up your guitar?
Does the thought of practicing feel confusing or overwhelming?

Are these the thoughts quietly holding you back from enjoying guitar?

  • “I’m not musical…”

  • “My fingers are too slow…”

  • “I don’t know chords…”

  • “Guitar might not be for me…”

If so—relax. I have some great news

You don’t need to know a lot of chords to sound good on guitar.
(In fact, learning too many chords early on usually slows you down.)

You also don’t need:

  • Music theory

  • Fast fingers

  • Years of experience

And you definitely don’t need to be a “natural” right away.

Here’s something to consider:

Imagine you want to learn guitar, and two teachers explain how to start.

Teacher #1:
“First, you need to memorize all the open chords, scales, finger exercises, and theory. Then maybe you can play a song.”

Teacher #2:
“Let’s start with a few chords that already sound good together. I’ll show you a simple rhythm so it already sounds like music. You’ll play a real song today—even if it’s slow.”

Which one would you choose?

If you’re a total beginner, you’d probably pick Teacher #2, right?

Why?

Because Teacher #1 focuses on information.
Teacher #2 focuses on experience.

And that’s the secret most beginners are never taught.

At the end of the day, your fingers don’t care how many chords you know…

What matters is how quickly you can turn practice into real music.

It all comes down to one simple focus.

Once you understand it, everything about guitar becomes clearer and more enjoyable.
(No complicated drills required.)

It’s a simple idea that starts with the letter “P.”

Keep playing,
Erich

Email 4 - Subject: 5 Strumming Patterns Every Beginner Must Know

Hey guitarist 🎸,

It’s Erich here.

I just wanted to check in and share something important with you.

If you’ve been following my recent emails, you already know why I teach guitar this way.

It’s because too many beginners quit—not because they’re bad at guitar, but because they were never shown how to make it feel like music.

They learn chords…
But not rhythm.
They practice shapes…
But never songs.

And that’s frustrating.

That’s exactly why I just released a new YouTube video:

🎥 The Most Common Strumming Patterns Beginners Can Use

In this video, I show you:

  • The strumming patterns used in hundreds of songs
  • Which patterns beginners should learn first
  • How to sound more confident—even with slow chord changes
  • How to stop overthinking and just play

No theory.
No counting.
No complicated terms.

Just simple up-and-down movements that make your playing sound musical.

👉 Watch the free YouTube video here
[INSERT YOUTUBE LINK]

Even if you’re brand new…
Even if your fingers still feel awkward…
Even if you’ve never followed a rhythm before…

You can use these patterns today.

Grab your guitar, hit play, and try it along with me.

Keep strumming,
🎸 Erich

P.S. This video works perfectly with the Beginner Guitar Shortcut Nobody Told You eBook. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, make sure you do—it’ll make these strumming patterns click much faster. It’s here Beginner Guitar Shortcut Nobody Told You eBook.

P.P.S. If you want to speed up your guitar learning even more, check your inbox for my next email—I’ll be sharing an important announcement with you.

Email 5 - Subject: Let Me Teach You Personally

So…

What exactly is The Beginner Guitar Shortcut Course?

It’s a 30-day, results-focused guitar course designed to help complete beginners start playing real music in just 30 minutes a day.

This is NOT a course filled with heavy theory, confusing exercises, or endless drills.

Instead, we focus on implementation.

By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:

  • Play real chord progressions
  • Use simple strumming patterns confidently
  • Practice without feeling lost or overwhelmed

As long as you follow the daily lessons and short practice routines.

Throughout the 30 days, we also cover:

  • Proper beginner habits
  • Simple rhythm foundations
  • How to stay consistent without burning out

And for those who don’t just want to “practice,” but actually want to play songs

I’ll also show you how to turn basic chords and strumming into music you can enjoy anytime.

By now, you probably realize how valuable this opportunity is.

And while I’m excited about how much progress you can make in just one month…

There’s a bigger reason behind this course.

Like I mentioned in the last email, there are millions of people who want to play guitar—but were never shown a clear, simple starting path.

My goal with this course is to give beginners—kids, adults, even those who think they’re “not musical”—a real chance to succeed…

By proving that you don’t need talent, speed, or years of experience to enjoy guitar.

Just the right system.

Rooting for you,

Here’s what a few of our students have said:

“I never thought I could play a real song in just a week. This system is crazy effective!” — Mia

“Erich’s method made chords and rhythm click instantly. I’ve been playing songs I never imagined I could.” — Leo

“I showed my kids the eBook, and now we play together every evening. Fun and easy!” — Sarah

“30 minutes a day, and I finally feel like a guitarist, not just someone strumming randomly.” — Carlos

Even better, these students didn’t have any prior guitar experience.

If you’re worried about whether this will work for you, don’t be.

All we ask is that you give it an honest try:

Email 7 - Can I actually stick with this guitar journey?

Hey %FIRSTNAME%,

It’s Erich here.

Just a quick reminder: today is the last day to grab access to the 30-Day Beginner Guitar Shortcut Program.

Here’s the link to join: [INSERT LINK]

Before I forget, here’s a replay of our recent Q&A session.

We answered all the most common beginner questions, gave a quick tour of the course content, and even showed some behind-the-scenes practice tips that people loved.

I suggest you check it out—it might help you decide if this is right for you.

Now, let’s talk about something that comes up all the time…

In our Facebook group, we ask beginners what their biggest fear is.

Do any of these sound familiar?

  • “What if I disappoint myself or others when I play?”
  • “What if I can’t play the songs correctly?”
  • “What if I don’t have enough time to practice?”
  • “What if I’m just not good enough?”
  • “Can I actually stick with this?”

All of this boils down to one simple thing… fear of failure.

Can I be honest?

I’ve been there.

Starting guitar from scratch, thinking I could make it a real part of my life, felt overwhelming.

No shortcuts, no guarantees, and lots of pressure to succeed.

Honestly, I was stressed out.

That’s when I reached out to other guitar teachers, some younger than me, and what they told me completely changed my perspective.

Here’s the truth: fear never goes away.

Even when you improve, you’ll face new fears:

  • “Can I learn a new song quickly?”
  • “Will I ever sound confident in front of others?”
  • “Can I play the style I love?”

Fear is about uncertainty, and no matter how experienced someone is, they can’t predict every outcome.

So here’s the good news: fear isn’t your enemy.

Think of it like Spider-Man’s “Spidey Sense.”
It’s just fear turned into a superpower, giving you awareness and energy to focus.

If you use it the right way, fear becomes your fuel.

Just like one of our members, Jennifer, who said:

“I’m in! I was hesitant, but I decided not to let fear hold me back. Now I can play songs I never thought I could.”

At the end of the day, the question isn’t if you’ll fail—you will, everyone does.

The real question is:
Will you face it alone…
Or use it to join a community of learners who succeed because they persist?

Keep strumming,
Erich

P.S. Some wise words to leave you with:

“Failure is not the opposite of success… it’s part of it.”
— Netflix, Karamo
